The friendly relationship between Dr.Dre and Snoop Dogg is one of those rare relationships spotted in the music industry, including Jay-Z. They form a solid team like the Destiny Child but replaced by a boy’s band.

In the music industry, you either hear remorse over rappers arguing or rappers saying bad things about others. Dre and Snoop showed their friendship to the entire world when they collaborated on their first album together, now 30 years ago, called “Doggystyle.”
Dre, Snoop and Jay-Z are often seen together, most notably at the Super Bowl halftime show in August 2022. Before the show, Dre was skeptical about performing, but Jay-Z stood by him. Snoop revealed that Jay-Z told the NFL that Dre had to perform at the Super Bowl or he would quit his role as the league’s live music entertainment strategist.
In March 2022, during an interview with TIDAL, Snoop admitted how close he was to Dre and Jay-Z.
Here’s what he said: “We love each other, like not secretly, like publicly, we love each other. It is what it is, so it’s like for him to go to bat for us and tell the NFL, ‘Fuck that. They perform or I quit,’ that was the most gangster shit out of everything. Then with attire and kneeling and all this you can’t wear your gang bang shit? JAY-Z hit me like, Wear what the fuck you want to wear. Peace to the Gods.”

Snoop confirmed rumors of a new album collaboration this month in an interview with Stephen A. Smith for the ‘Know Mercy’ podcast.
Here’s what Snoop said: “You’re the first one to hear this: me and Dr. Dre have been working on an album for the past two months, and it’ll be done in November, and it’s produced by Dr. Dre. It’s our 30th anniversary with ‘Doggystyle’. And the name of the album is ‘Missionary’.”
It’s an album they started working on two months ago. Fans knew something was baked when Emimen posted a tweet showing the 2 rappers in a studio. Nevertheless, fans are excited about the collaboration of these 2 great rap legends.
