Her 10th album Midnight was released 1 month ago, in October 2022. At the MTV video awards, after receiving her video of the year award, Taylor Swift told her fans during her speech that her new album Midnight is on its way.
She said: “I had sort of made up my mind that if you were going to be this generous and give us this, I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you that my brand-new album comes out October 21st. And I will tell you more at midnight.”
We assume that Taylor Swift was also surprised by the results that the album is getting since its release. The album is currently the No.1 most popular album in nearly 14 countries globally. Midnight became the first album in history to break global streaming records in its first week on Spotify and Amazon.
She even dethroned artists like The Beatles, Drake and Jay-Z, who had more than 10 albums at the No.1 spot on charts in their careers. Taylor Swift She is the first artist in history to have 10 top 10 singles on the Billboard 100 in a single week. The album sold over 1.14 million US pure copies in one week.
