During the Bills vs. Bengals game on Monday, NFL player Damar Hamlin passed out following a hit.
After a brief suspension of play at 9:18 p.m. EST, the league formally postponed the game at 10:01 p.m. EST.
The team wrote that Damar Hamlin experienced a cardiac arrest as a result of a hit during our game against the Bengals.
After having his heartbeat returned to normal on the field, he was taken to the UC Medical Center for additional examinations and treatment. He is currently sedated and in critical condition.
