After Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen asked the crowd to "pray" for him
Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, asked NFL fans to remember his teammate after seeing Damar Hamlin collapse to the ground after going into cardiac arrest during Monday's game.

...due to Damar's injury. The 24-year-old safety tackled Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins in the first quarter.
After the tackle, Hamlin got to his feet and stood there for about three seconds before he fell, Higgins' shoulder striking Hamlin's chest.
Higgins tweeted after the game, "My prayers and thoughts are with [Damar Hamlin] and the Hamlin Family.".

Patrick Mahomes tweeted, "Praying Hard...please be okay, man.".
Tim Tebow, a former quarterback, urged everyone to join him in prayer for Damar Hamlin.
JJ Watt continued, "Please be alright, man.
I'm constantly praying for Damar and his family, wrote Bills tight end Dawson Knox in a tweet.
According to the Los Angeles Times, they performed CPR on Hamlin for nine minutes, including using an automated external defibrillator. At one point, they intubated him so that he could receive oxygen.
Damar experienced a cardiac arrest following a hit in our game against the Bengals, the Bills confirmed in a statement they released hours after the incident.

Damar entered Monday's game tied for second on the team in tackles (91) and had one forced fumble when the Bills selected Hamlin in the 2021 NFL Draft.
According to ESPN, Leslie Frazier, the defensive coordinator for the Bills, said that Hamlin had significantly improved throughout the course of the season and had stepped up more as a vocal leader and tackler.
