At a Diplomatic Corps reception held at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, Dec. 6, Kate Middleton was the epitome of elegance.
Alongside her husband Prince William, his father King Charles, and Queen Consort Camila, all of whom are 40 years old, the Princess of Wales, 40, was in a state of shock as she greeted guests.
In a red Jenny Packham gown, Kate stole the show. The long sleeve dress was covered in scarlet sequins and fell elegantly to the floor. Perfectly tailored, the dress accented her slim figure while remaining demure.
While Kate's dress was undeniably stunning, it was her jewelry that really caught everyone's attention. In keeping with her royal duties, Kate wore several exquisite heirlooms to the occasion.
She accessorized her stunning brunette hair with the Princess Margaret-owned Lotus Flower Tiara, which was delicately framed by a pair of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Frame drop earrings.
The Queen's elaborate Royal Family Order, a personal gift from the monarch to female royalty, completed the very official appearance.
The royal family made an appearance the same evening Harry and Meghan received the Ripple of Hope Award in New York, just before their Netflix documentary about their time in the royal family was released.
Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden were previous winners.
Nobody should ever feel lonely, she declared.
Everybody should just speak openly about their own experiences when they can and have the courage to do so.
