One year after the host of "The Nick Cannon Show" lost his son to a brain tumor, he shared a heartfelt tribute to him.
A year after the passing of his son Zen, who was only five months old when he died of a brain tumor, Nick Cannon shared an emotional tribute to him.
The 42-year-old TV host posted several photos of Zen on Instagram along with a picture of himself holding him as he reflected on how difficult the day of his passing was.
He wrote, "I'm broken mentally and spiritually."
Despite the fact that I am aware of how much I need to sleep, last night I was unable to fall asleep at all.
Following his son's sudden and unexpected death, Nick said that the day Zen passed away was the hardest day of his life and that he is still experiencing a wide range of emotions.
He wrote, "I love big, I love with all of my Heart and Soul, and I just wish my Little Man could've felt more of that love while he was here on Earth."
Nick also discussed his recent hospitalization for pneumonia and the advice a spiritual leader had given him about being in the midst of one of his life's most difficult seasons.
He added a broken heart emoji and wrote, "I could definitely use those prayers right now.
My Son, Zen Scott Cannon, please continue to rest peacefully. We love you forever.
He had the child in June 2021 with the model Alyssa Scott. Throughout the year, Alyssa has shared a number of moving tributes to her son.
Nick and Alyssa made the announcement that they were having their 12th child not long after their son passed away.
