In a number of interviews, Prince Harry opened up about his relationship with the Queen Consort Camilla and explained why he thought she was 'dangerous' before she wed.
In his upcoming memoir Spare, Prince Harry discusses the relationship between his father, King Charles, and Queen Consort Camilla. He elaborated on these thoughts prior to the book's Jan. 10 publication.
Harry and Prince William even initially requested that their father not wed Camilla, according to Anderson Cooper in a 60 Minutes interview with Harry.
Harry explained that we didn't believe it was necessary.
We reasoned that going that far wouldn't be necessary and that the harm it would do would outweigh the good, especially since he was already with his person.
In the end, the boys changed their minds because they wanted [their father] to be content. However, he continued to view Camilla as dangerous due to her close relationship with the British press.
Harry said, "[She needed to] clean up her image.".
That made her dangerous because of the relationships she was developing with members of the British press. There was an open willingness on both sides to exchange information, ...
...and because her family was hierarchical and she was on the path to becoming queen consort, there would likely be victims or bodies left on the street as a result.
He specifically acknowledged that he and Camilla had not spoken in a long time.
Harry continued, "I love everyone in my family, despite our differences, so when I see Camilla, we get along just fine. She's my stepmother, but I don't see her as an evil ...
...one; rather, I see someone who married into this establishment and has done everything in her power to enhance her own reputation and her own image for her own sake.
